The role of the WIFVC is to provide regional leadership in service integration and planning, policy and advocacy to improve service responses to family violence in the West. Members support the aspirations of the Royal Commission into Family Violence regarding regional integration arrangements, and the priorities of Family Safety Victoria, to implement a program of strategic integration in the West. Members aim to implement the Victorian Government ten-year family violence plan, entitled Free from violence: Victoria's strategy to prevent family violence and all forms of violence against women. As reforms are implemented over the 2018-2020 period and beyond, the WIFVC aims to offer a flexible approach, to attract and sustain necessary resources to implement agreed strategic priorities. © 2018 WIFVC
