Westcon Equipment specialise in the UK, Irish and sometimes European distribution of equipment from leading US and European manufacturers. We specialise in the areas of Biomass, Organic Recycling and Arboriculture. Westcon started life in 1982 supplying high quality equipment to the arboriculture industry. American built Rayco Stump Grinders were the first franchise and they soon became UK market leaders. Rayco Manufacturing in the USA then asked Westcon Equipment to distribute their products in Europe and Rayco Europe was set up in the late 80’s to establish a dealer network throughout Europe for the Rayco range of products. We now have dealers in 8 European countries. In 1993 Westcon expanded into the composting and waste wood recycling industry by taking on the JENZ shredder range. With the recycling industry growing we added a range of screening equipment and windsifting equipment from the Terra Select Company in Germany. Westcon quickly became a major supplier of compost equipment throughout the UK and Ireland. Waste wood recycling is another important area and Westcon offer unique specialised versions of the JENZ shredders for chip production suitable for chipboard, animals products, biomass fuel or export grade. With biomass now an important fuel Westcon launched the JENZ range of biomass chippers in 2005 and these chippers are now the dominant make in the UK and Ireland. We never forget that the sale of a machine is only the start of our relationship with a customer. To support all our customers Westcon offer a complete after sales service, technical advice, a large stock of spare parts available next day and service engineers available to keep the machines running.
