WEST HARTFORD SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA INC Information

The WHSO strives to involve and be involved in the community. This season we plan to share the stage with some local church and synagogue soloists and the Kingswood Oxford High School choirs. Prior season guest performers include the West Hartford Women's Chorale, Conard and Northwest Catholic choirs, and award winning "I Giovani Solisti" high school string orchestra. We are also very proud to be making last year's very successful Children's Concert for West Hartford's third graders an annual event. The excitement of the 1000 plus students, many of whom have the chance to sit amongst the orchestra, is contagious! In order to continue to offer these programs the WHSO needs your help. While the WHSO musicians donate their time, there are unfortunately many other costs incurred to hold our concerts. Concert hall rentals, music rentals, publicity costs and numerous other operating expenses quickly add up, and while ticket revenue defrays a portion of these costs the majority of our operating budget comes from individual donations. I respectfully ask that you please consider making a tax-deductible gift to the WHSO.
