West End State School Information

West End State School (WESS) is a welcoming and vibrant inner-city Brisbane learning community where every child is encouraged to belong, grow and succeed. Proudly diverse and inclusive, we value the richness of our community and are committed to ensuring each student is known, supported and inspired to thrive as both a learner and a citizen. We believe learning is strongest when built on genuine relationships. At WESS, our passionate and skilled educators create engaging and purposeful learning experiences that challenge students to think deeply, explore their potential and confidently strive for their personal best. A strong sense of belonging empowers our students to take risks, embrace new ideas and actively engage in their learning journey. Our central location provides unique opportunities to connect with Brisbane’s educational, cultural and community networks, enriching student experiences and broadening horizons beyond the classroom. At WESS, success is measured not only by academic achievement, but by the development of resilient, curious and compassionate young people who collaborate, contribute and care. In partnership with our families and community, we are proud to be empowering generations to create a positive and lasting impact on our world.
