West Core Drilling is a specialist surface diamond drilling contractor servicing the mining industry in WA and the NT. We utilise small footprint rigs that are ideal for minimising clients’ environmental clearing requirements, without compromising on power. Our rigs are capable of 900 – 1,500m NQ2, 600 – 1,000m HQ and 400 – 600m PQ depending on model. In addition, we are have modified our rigs to allow them to drill at much shallower angles(-30 degrees) than is standard for surface coring. This provides our clients with a straightforward option for testing below flooded pit floors, waste dumps and other infrastructure or into hillsides. Our rigs, trucks and ancillary equipment are all late model and well maintenance by our dedicated, in-house service department. Our drillers are all well experienced in a range of terrains from deep directional drilling to wide diameter coring in iron ore. They have achieved either Certificate III or IV.
