West Branch Human Resources Society Information

Welcome to the West Branch Human Resource Society (WBHRS) An affiliate chapter of the national Society for Human Resource Management, the West Branch Human Resource Society serves Human resource professionals from a variety of business and industries throughout North-Central Pennsylvania. Whether you are new to the HR field or have many years of experience, we are a local resource for networking, information, professional development, and continued support of excellence in Human Resources. Being a member of the WBHRS has a number of advantages including: Enriching professional development and educational activities Networking opportunities with other HR professionals The Society for HR Management (SHRM) affiliation Community development activities Opportunities for professional certification and much more! WBHRS Membership runs January through December. Regular programs are provided at an additional cost beginning January through May and finishing September through December. Due to the many constraints of summer, WBHRS does not regularly schedule programs for the summer months of June to August, however upon request, may provide additional programming. Please see the calendar of events for our next meeting. The meeting fee, including refreshments for in-person events, is $17.00 for members and $30.00 for non-members. Many of our programs are held virtually. The location for in-person programs will be included in the event information. Log-in information for virtual programs will be included in the registration confirmation. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting!
