ACES (Area Cooperative Educational Services) is dedicated to enhancing and transforming lives through education, innovation, and collaboration. Serving the Greater New Haven area and beyond, ACES provides a wide range of educational services and programs designed to meet the diverse needs of our communities.
As a regional educational service center, ACES operates as both a non-profit and a service organization. We function as a school district serving more than 2,000 students across three magnet schools, seven special education schools, and five alternative education programs. Additionally, we support many more students and educational professionals throughout the region through our comprehensive Services Division.
We offer specialized education programs for students from preschool through adulthood, ensuring that every individual has access to the resources and support they need to succeed. Our Life Skills program, beginning at age 23, is designed to equip adults with the practical skills necessary for independent living and community integration.
In addition to our educational services, ACES also provides professional development, technology solutions, operational support to school districts, and more, enhancing the overall quality of education in the region. The Open Choice and Magnet School programs provide parents and students with diverse educational options, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth. Our commitment to innovation and excellence makes ACES a vital resource for students, educators, and communities alike.
Together, we are ACES—dedicated to excellence in education and committed to empowering every individual to reach their full potential.
