Werribee Concert Band Information

The Werribee Concert Band is a community-based not for profit group based in Werribee, Victoria Australia. We are a volunteer organisation that exists to create music for and by local residents. Playing in a relaxed and friendly environment, players of all ages and abilities are catered for. We perform right throughout the City of Wyndham including Werribee, Hoppers Crossing, Point Cook, Tarneit and Wyndham Vale. We also regularly perform in Melbourne and Altona. The purpose of the band is firstly to provide opportunities for musicians in the Wyndham area to play in an ensemble which can attempt more sophisticated music than may be possible by school bands or other such groups. Secondly, we aim to make a contribution to community cultural activities through performances, and finally to encourage at all times the very highest standards of performance of which the players are capable.
