Starting and growing a business can be a lonely process. Welsh ICE brings people together so that nobody has to build their business alone. We are a social enterprise helping entrepreneurs start, survive and grow businesses across Wales. From our welcoming enterprise hub in Caerphilly and through programmes delivered in communities across Wales, we connect people with practical support, experienced mentors, affordable workspace, peer networks and the right opportunities at the right time. Our collaborative community gives founders, freelancers and small business owners a friendly and creative environment in which to share ideas, ask for help and learn from one another. Through coworking, mentoring, training and regular community activities, we help people build their confidence, strengthen their businesses and make meaningful connections. We believe entrepreneurship should be a genuine and accessible choice. That includes school leavers, graduates, people who are out of work, those changing direction and anyone who wants to turn a skill, idea or passion into something sustainable. For more than a decade, we have worked with local authorities, funders, universities, housing associations and community organisations to make entrepreneurship more accessible. Together, we help address challenges including economic inactivity, business survival, town-centre regeneration, local employment and access to opportunity. Our impact includes more than 2,000 entrepreneurs supported, £63.1 million in net GVA generated, 800 full-time-equivalent jobs created and a three-year business survival rate of 77%.
