Wellity Active Information

Wellity Active is the brainchild of three UK school children, Molly, Joe and Phoebe who believe that everyone should be better informed about their health, wellbeing and fitness. Known as the "badge of a healthy lifestyle,"​ it is a brand that signifies health education, fitness and modern nutritional advice. They now have a social media following, a website, an e-commerce shop and a sports retail company with over 50 lines. The children have presented to hundreds of adults after making it through to the finals of numerous business awards and are now being heralded as "inspirational"​ and "influential"​ in their age group. They have also interviewed well known sports people and personalities in a bid to make "healthy"​ go viral and get kids moving again. The aim is to get Wellity into the education system and as such, the children have presented at their schools and are also now working with Young Enterprise. The children are also ambassadors for the South West Youth Games, Sugar Smart, The Great British Sports Show and Cranbrook Healthy Town. The message from the kids is clear ..... the delivery strategy for change has to start with the empowerment of children. It has to be their idea to make it both current and effective. Kids listen to kids more than kids listen to adults. The difference with Wellity however is that the story is real ... and the ambition is boundless. In terms of the future - the Wellity Kids want to grow their social media following and work with collaborators and nutritionists in order to help share their movement. The plans for growth are enormous with the sports brand aimed to be on the high street within 12 months. This is a positive movement for change and a brand that shows that the children care about their own health and fitness. The kids are in charge but everyone is included.
