Dr. A.H Paulson established the Welland Animal Hospital in 1956. Dr Paul Karner Purchased the practice in 1975 after owning the Dain City Animal Hospital from 1962 - 1975. After Dr Paul Karner's retirement in 2000, current owners Dr. Steve Karner and Dr. Jeff Fidler took over the practice. Their goal is to continue to provide quality compassionate veterinary care for the people and their pets from Welland and surrounding communities. The Doctors and staff take pride in the fact that many of our clients have been coming to us for 20-30 years.
