Weldbond® was founded in 1964 has been producing its internationally known universal adhesive over 40 years! In the early 1960's Bernie Ross Sr., the son of the founder (Frank T. Ross, pictured below), spent a lot of time traveling across the Canadian countryside meeting with clients and attending tradeshows. During one particular train ride Bernie Ross Sr. happened to meet a passenger who shared with him the formula for an adhesive that could bond almost anything. At the end of the ride Bernie Sr. encouraged the man to contact him if he ever wanted to sell the adhesive. A few months later Bernie Sr. was contacted by the train passenger and a deal was struck, thus Weldbond® was born.
