Wel-Fab, Inc. provides National Guard Weapons of Mass Destruction, Civil Support Teams (WMD CST) with new Lightweight Inflatable Decontamination System (LIDS) to standardized WMD CST decon capability across the United States and Europe. Wel-Fab, Inc (WFI), recently completed the delivery of our Lightweight Inflatable Decontamination Systems (LIDS) to all WMD-CST National Guard units across the United States. We are extremely proud our LIDS CST system was selected by the National Guard, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Civil Support Teams (WMD-CST)for their ongoing mission to support local and state authorities at domestic WMD/NBC incident sites. Our National Guard WMD CST provide the DoD with unique expertise and capabilities to assist state governors in preparing for and responding to chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear (CBRNE) incidents as part of a state's emergency response structure. WFI is extremely honored to be given the opportunity play a such a vital part in the mission of National Guard Weapons of Mass Destruction, Civil Support Teams (WMD-CST) in protecting our country. It is also satisfying to know that we are playing a vital role in standardizing CST unit decontamination capability and system operational training across the United States, and Europe. Our LIDS System Training Instructors Rick Murray, Bobby Clark, and Paul Elstone Jr. work directly with CST members to ensure all units were fully trained prior to receiving their individual LIDS packages. Our Instructors fully train each CST on the Unpacking, Setup, Striking, and Packing of the LIDS CST decontamination system at the Blue Grass Depot training facility in Winchester KY. The outstand professional attitude displayed by members of these CST made the training and system employment process an enjoyable and rewarding experience for the Wel-Fab, Training Instructor and logistic staff. We look forward to working closely with the CST community in the future, to ensure our system continues to meets their demanding decontamination needs.
