The mission of Jazz at Lincoln Center is to entertain, enrich and expand a global community for Jazz through performance, education and advocacy.
We believe that Jazz is a metaphor for Democracy. Because jazz is improvisational, it celebrates personal freedom and encourages individual expression. Because jazz is swinging, it dedicates that freedom to finding and maintaining common ground with others. Because jazz is rooted in the blues, it inspires us to face adversity with persistent optimism.
With the world-renowned Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and guest artists spanning genres and generations, Jazz at Lincoln Center produces thousands of performances, education programs, and broadcast events each season. Jazz at Lincoln Center is led by Managing and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis, and Executive Director Greg Scholl.

Established in 1984. We are primarily an online Quilt Shop featuring 100% premium cotton fabrics carrying full collections of Fossil Fern fabric, Paula Nadelstern's kaleidoscope collections and Fusions Mist. We also have books, notions, patterns, kits, fabric packs and so much more to meet all your quilting needs. We also carry the very popular Ecolux LED Strip Lights, with or without a USB adapter. It all began as a mail order business over 30 years ago placing 2" x 2" ads in the Quilting Association Newsletter. Initially you belonged to a "club" - The Cotton Club, The Hoffman Club, The Jinny Beyer Club and each month you'd receive a 4" square sample of a fabric, or a fat quarter pack, depending upon which you desired to build your stash. By 1995 we began to move the business onto the Internet. We do have a store, so if you wish to walk in rather than order online, we "allow it" :) However, keep in mind we do not keep the usual retail business hours.
