wehackph Information

wehackph, reborn from wehackcdo established in 2015, was founded to foster a synergy of technology and business innovation within local communities across the Philippines. Initially starting in Cagayan de Oro, wehackph is dedicated to creating a vibrant platform where both tech-savvy and non-tech individuals can come together to share ideas, collaborate, and learn. This initiative goes beyond traditional hackathons by inviting participants from diverse backgrounds - not just IT and CS - to engage in the creative process of turning ideas into applications. Our primary aim is to cultivate a dynamic environment where learning and innovation are continuously at the forefront. wehackph is dedicated to providing a space that encourages the exchange of knowledge and the nurturing of mentorship relationships. Our community structure is uniquely designed to foster cross-disciplinary teamwork, ensuring that everyone, regardless of technical expertise, can contribute meaningfully. This framework ensures that every technological development is anchored in solid business rationale, focusing on real use cases right from the start. wehackph offers more than just hackathons. We provide continuous opportunities for personal and professional development through regular mentorship sessions and interactive discussions with industry leaders. Our diverse range of activities, from intimate mentorship engagements to high-energy hackathon events, ensures that each participant, regardless of their background or level of expertise, finds valuable opportunities to grow. Whether you’re a coder, a designer, a marketer, or someone with entrepreneurial dreams, there’s a place for you at wehackph.
