Weenies is a destination quick serve restaurant, offering American comfort food classics, such as hot dogs, sliders, fries, milkshakes and more til 3am every day! We are committed to serving delicious food with interesting combinations to satisfy all your cravings, whether it be for a hot dog topped with pulled pork, ranch and doritos, fries topped with cheeseburgers or a milkshake with Frosted Flakes and Nutella. Check out our MENU to see all our offerings. The first Weenies store opened on May 23rd, 2016, at 45 Broadway, Denville NJ, but the idea for Weenies was born years before that. The owner, Michael Dey, a New Jersey native, has been eating hot dogs since his early childhood. His father took him to have his very first hot dog All The Way in 1986, and ever since, hot dogs have been his absolute favorite food. Michaels journey as a restaurateur began as a franchisee of a major sandwich chain in 2007. Feeling trapped by the franchise system, having little room for creativity and growth, Michael decided to exit the franchise in 2012, and come up with his own sandwich concept Fattys a store with which he combined his love for heavy comfort food and late night pigouts. Fast forward to 2015, Fattys was thriving in Morristown, yet Michael found himself traveling 2-3 times a week to legendary New Jersey hot dog joints in Clifton, craving those All The Way dogs. A lightbulb went off in his mind why not apply his restaurant knowledge, bring his favorite food closer to home, and make it desirable for people from all walks of life? Hence, his concept of family friendly gluttony, Weenies, was born. From traditional chili cheese dogs and hot dogs with mustard and sauerkraut, to dogs topped with cream cheese, scallions and everything bagel seeds theres a dog for every day.
