Weelio Information

Weelio was a mobile app that facilitated ride-shares along highly traveled routes at predictable times. Weelio operated in Chicago and California during late 2014 and 2015. We started Weelio with the mission of transforming the way people commute locally. By sharing rides with friends, we discovered that shared rides were an affordable and often more comfortable and convenient alternative to crowded public transportation. Weelio focused on making shared rides happen both in real time and via our scheduled rides and repeat rides features.
