Weaving Change Limited was established with the aim to reduce overconsumption in the fashion industry. 8% of global emissions comes from this industry and 1 truckload of clothing gets burned or sent to landfill every second. We want this to change. By developing Swerv a gamified fashion app, we will help to change the attitudes we all have towards our own clothes and how we shop for new ones. We also work with the local community, running workshops which connect people to textiles and clothes, by teaching about how they're made and how to mend them, as well as the influence of trends on your wardrobe. We are impact driven and believe in collective change by tailoring solutions at both local and global levels.
