Our mission is to create a future where young people of all races, genders, and backgrounds see themselves as leaders in any industry, under the banner of "if you can see it, you can be it.” Our programs are three-fold: in-class and community-based workshops, a robust student ambassador program, and an annual creative competition. Right now, our core focus is our creative competition - where we’ve called for youth to answer to our theme of “Re-Writing History: Her Story,” chosen to elevate the stories of impactful, but perhaps underrepresented, women in history. We’ve put the call out for young people to submit creative works (eg. short film, performance piece, art, etc) inspired by the lives of real life role models, with cash prizing and internship opportunities as the output. We stand firm in our belief that representation matters. When you see someone who looks like you, it reveals what is possible. Suddenly, becoming a prime minister, a CEO, a visionary artist, a professional athlete, a leader - all become much more real.
