PositiveChange.com is a growing group of micro-philanthropists who think poverty is wrong and that large numbers of small donations will help alleviate it. PositiveChange.com has shown that the act of giving, even as little as $.99, benefits both the givers and the recipients. PositiveChange.com uses powerful yet simple Web-based media to tell stories of specific instances of poverty, and ways poverty can be alleviated. We then take on "projects" in which we identify specific instances of poverty, ask our network of donors to contribute funds and tell others so that the specific project can be completed.
