Eco-Cycle is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization committed to finding solutions to climate change through the concepts and practices of Zero Waste. We were created in 1976 by Boulder, Colorado residents who had a passionate belief in conserving our natural resources. These Eco-Cycle volunteers brought recycling to town in 1976, making Boulder one of the first 20 communities in the U.S. to offer curbside recycling. Eco-Cycle is one of the oldest and the largest non-profit recycler in the USA, and has an international reputation as a pioneer and innovator in resource conservation. Eco-Cycle’s mission is to innovate, implement, and advocate for local and global Zero Waste solutions to foster a more regenerative, equitable, and climate-resilient future.

Founded in 2011, CompostNow is a B Corp Certified solutions provider for organics recycling with expertise in organics hauling, logistics, and consultation, as well as compost production and distribution. Our work is rooted at the intersection of healthy people and healthy planet, and our mission is to rebuild soil health by diverting organic waste from landfills and using it to create compost for our communities.

Compost Crew is a locally-owned organics recycling business that offers simple, clean, and convenient composting to thousands of businesses, organizations and residential customers throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. These services are part of our mission to protect the planet, reduce waste and build community wealth. We are committed to recovering compostable waste, reducing dependence on landfills and incinerators, and revitalizing our soils. We won’t compromise on that commitment or cut corners.
