The Wayne County Chamber is the largest, most effective business organization in the community. Leadership Wayne Leadership Wayne County, is a program of the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce and is designed to create a corps of leaders dedicated to the betterment of the community through service. Military Affairs Committee mission is to maintain and improve our community’s relationship with Seymour Johnson Air Force Base through learning about the operational needs of the base, advocating for policy, procedures and infrastructure, fostering an environment which will promote the importance of SJAFB to our nation’s security. Government Affairs Committee The Government Affairs Committee works to ensure that the business voice is heard on issues of importance at the local state and federal level. Wayne Education Network The Wayne Education Network (WEN) is a program of the Wayne Charitable Partnership, Inc. The county-wide initiative created in 2009 to improve the quality of life and economic prosperity in Goldsboro and Wayne County through programs and partnerships to enhance the educational and training opportunities available to students of all ages.
