Waymakers Information

For more than 50 years, Waymakers has been helping children, youth, adults, and families throughout Orange County find safety, healing, and hope during some of life's most difficult moments. As one of Orange County's leading nonprofit organizations, Waymakers provides comprehensive services that protect vulnerable individuals, strengthen families, prevent violence, and build safer, healthier communities. Our programs include: • Emergency youth shelter and crisis intervention • Victim advocacy for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, homicide, and other violent crimes • Individual, family, and youth mental health counseling • Conflict resolution and mediation services • Violence prevention, education, and community outreach • Family support and intervention programs Every day, our dedicated staff, volunteers, community partners, and supporters work together to ensure that people facing crisis are met with compassion, expertise, and practical support. Whether answering a late-night crisis hotline call, providing emergency shelter to a young person in need, accompanying a survivor through the legal process, helping neighbors resolve conflict peacefully, or educating communities on prevention, Waymakers is there when it matters most.
