Watson Tractors Information

WATSON TRACTORS is the continuation of a family business which commenced operations in 1976 with service & repairs on all types of agricultural machinery in the local region. It was during the 1983 drought that the company took a change in direction whereby several agricultural company suppliers were keen to place floor stock on dealer floors to further enhance equipment sales. The family business was successful in securing the relatively new tractor company, KUBOTA TRACTORS AUSTRALIA, who were also importing and distributing the world renowed German made KRONE hay & silage equipment. Other companies, such as Jarrett Implements and Challenge Equipment were also included to work hand in hand with the Kubota tractor range. In 1984 the company purchased a vacant double block on the Vale Road Bathurst, where they built their own dealership premises. At the time it was just a single building and it opened for business in March 1985. The new location was chosen to increase exposure, as stock sales at the Vale Road yards were held at least twice a week and were one of the top selling centres in NSW. This move to the Goulburn Road Highway proved to be the making of a small family agricultural business to what it is today. For almost four decades, the Watson family business has cemented the KUBOTA/KRONE Product in the local region, providing a valuable service to the many rural communities in the area and as far away as the Blue Mountains, Oberon, Mudgee, Orange, Blayney and Western NSW. Government Departments, Councils, Colleges and other clientele and in particular hobby farmers and city dwellers who have relocated a part of their businesses to the Central Western rural area of NSW, form the basis of a large network of valued customers. It is very rewarding when clients return year after year, adding another Kubota or Krone product to their agricultural requirements.
