Watershed Fellowship Information

The Watershed takes its name from an illustration made by the late Christian author Francis Schaeffer. In 1984 Schaeffer wrote about how seemingly small differences in the way we think and live can result in drastically different outcomes. He likened these differences to a watershed. Schaeffer noted that a small difference in the flowing of waters from a mountain near his home in Switzerland divided the water to either the chilling North Sea or the warm waters of Lake Geneva. No matter how seemingly small the topic may be, The Watershed seeks to be a positive voice in the ongoing discussion with culture and the experiences it brings. The Watershed is a ministry outreach to the Lexington community and its surrounding area. It is a place where people can hear great music and listen to engaging speakers. We hope and pray most that it will be a place where folks meet others working through big decisions and Lord willing have a watershed experience in their faith. Whether the issue is world religions, science & faith, personal relationships or parenting, The Watershed will take on the conversation. We hope you will join in.
