WaterAid is an international charity with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity. Today we work alongside communities worldwide setting up entire systems that deliver clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene for millions. And we get the people, policies and money in place to keep these systems working – and the water flowing for good. So that people have safe, reliable services that last. Together with our partners and supporters, we are working with determination towards the day when we are no longer needed.

charity: water is a non-profit bringing clean and safe drinking water to people around the world. Since 2006, we've funded more than 186,000 water projects in 29 countries. When complete, these projects will provide clean, safe drinking water for more than 20.3 million people. 703 million people don’t have access to clean drinking water, that's one in ten of us. Diseases from dirty water kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. The good news: there are simple solutions, from deep drilled wells to water filtration systems. With the help of 2 million+ donors and individual fundraisers, we've raised over $1B for both water and operations, forming a strong force against the water crisis. Join us!

Water For People promotes the development of high-quality drinking water and sanitation services accessible to all – sustained by strong communities, businesses, and governments. We're working to reach Everyone Forever. Everyone means every single person, even the hardest to reach, the most vulnerable, and the marginalized, has access to safe water and sanitation services. But reaching everyone isn't enough; we want to ensure that water and sanitation services are sustainable. Forever means working from the ground up and top down, empowering communities and governments so that Water For People won’t have to be around forever, but water and sanitation services will be.
