Since 2008, Wataneya Society has been working on providing innovative solutions to develop the pillars of alternative care sector, starting from care homes, orphan youth and aftercare programs, and alternative families(Kafala). Wataneya was the first to cooperate with the Ministry of Social Solidarity to adopt quality standards of care within orphan care homes in Egypt, and the first to provide a professional certificate in the field of promoting child care accredited by Pearson, in order to ensure the best quality of care provided to children and youth. Wataneya provides a range of services offered to civil society organizations and private sector organizations operating in the field in Egypt and the Arab world to help them better support children and youth without parental care. Our Mission: Creating a future of equal opportunities for children and youth without parental care by providing innovative solutions to standardize and adopt all aspects of alternative care.
