Fitzwilliam, Stone & Alcazar was established in 1912 in Trinidad and Tobago as a firm of solicitors. In 1964, a branch of the firm was established in Barbados and headed by Mr. Neil B.G. Fitzwilliam until his retirement in 1983. In the 1970’s, the Barbados branch became independent of the Trinidad and Tobago firm. The Barbados branch retained the name Fitzwilliam, Stone and Alcazar while the Trinidad and Tobago firm changed its name to Fitzwilliam, Stone, Furness-Smith and Morgan. Fitzwilliam, Stone & Alcazar has developed a well established reputation with a large domestic and international corporate and private clientele for the skill, legal knowledge, integrity and experience it brings to general commercial work, banking, finance, corporate, property and conveyancing transactions.
