Warp 'n Weft is one of India's oldest labels that takes pride in celebrating Banarasi craftsmanship for over last two decades. The founder and creative director, Sagrika Rai who spent the first chapter of her life in Varanasi, inherited the respect for tradition from this epicentre of creativity and artistry which is second nature to her. The confidence of artistic expression is seen in her Banarasi Textiles. She chooses to preserve the tradition of hand weaving in Banarasi on the strength of its rich patronage and adapt trends without tempering the ingrained character of Banarasi. The Warp ‘n Weft motto is 'elegance in weave'​. It is the basis upon which the Warp 'n Weft designs are envisioned. Warp 'n Weft institutes derivatives of the classic with an interplay of conventional patterns and colours bringing in the optimal global aesthetics in its very native art form. At Warp ‘n Weft we are extremely stringent about the quality we curate. We only house natural yarns of silks, no art silk blends and endorse only pure handloom weaves.
