Bol is the largest online retailer in the Netherlands and Belgium. In 1999 we opened our virtual doors as first online bookstore in the Netherlands. Nowadays we’re working with 2.000 colleagues to deliver the best shopping platform ever. To be able to do this we have expanded our shopping platform in the 20 years of our existence. 2010 was the beginning of bol.com in Belgium. The first step towards our southern neighbors. And we opened our shopping platform to other retailers, for our customers to be able to find ‘everything’ on bol.com. Since 2016 it is possible for our partners to advertise via bol.com. And in 2017 Huub Vermeulen opened the doors of our bol fulfilment center. Shortly: together with 2.000 bol.commers we work to make the daily lives of our customer easier.

Het begint in 1973 In dat jaar opent Brico zijn eerste Bricocenter in Schoten. Het is een innovatief en zelfs revolutionair concept in de wereld van de grootdistributie. Als eerste in België bieden wij een brede waaier doe-het-zelf-producten aan. Sindsdien maakten wij van dit concept een boeiend beroep, volledig gewijd aan de inrichting en renovatie van huis en tuin. Vandaag heeft Brico een netwerk van 143 winkels, waarvan 98 franchisewinkels. Wij bieden een assortiment van meer dan 40.000 artikelen aan en meer dan 3.000 medewerkers geven dagelijks het beste van zichzelf voor onze klanten. ----- Tout commence en 1973 Cette année-là, Brico ouvre son premier Bricocenter à Schoten, un concept innovant qui va bousculer le monde de la grande distribution. Nous sommes en effet les premiers en Belgique à proposer une large gamme de produits directement liés au bricolage. Depuis, nous avons fait de ce concept un métier passionnant, entièrement dédicacé à l’aménagement et la rénovation de la maison et du jardin. Aujourd’hui, nous avons 143 magasins, dont 98 en franchise. Nous proposons un assortiment de plus de 40.000 articles et plus de 3000 collaborateurs offrent chaque jour le meilleur service à nos clients.
