When Bond closed in 2019, we launched Wami to focus on providing high-quality, handwritten notes at scale and explore our firm belief that there are better ways for brands to connect with customers than sending out millions of emails. ### What Does Wami Mean? Pronounced [Wah-me] We're self-proclaimed tech nerds, and we've often pondered the first words a robot would say if/when they became self-aware of their existence. "Who am I?" "Where am I?" "What am I?" Hence the name Wami was born.
