Founded in 1945 following the amalgamation of Walton FC and Hersham FC, they currently play in the Combined Counties Football League Premier South Division - the ninth tier of English Football In June 2019, the club was taken over by a consortium of seven university students, who currently aged 21-22, are the youngest known football club owners in the world The club has grown a brand around the ownership in the last two years, amassing half a million followers on popular video platform TikTok whilst also regularly engaging thousands of international supporters weekly on Instagram and YouTube
