We are a bunch of experienced entrepreneurs, building a neo-bank ( digital bank account) and a smart debit card for teenagers ( 13+ age group ) in India to manage their finances and learn about the bad world of money. Children today are more active and want to be more independent. They want to take charge of their lives and make their own small decisions in day-day life. Modern parents are busy with their own lives and want their kids to do things their own way, obviously with some oversight. It's important to give financial education to kids early on - teach them the value of money, how the world of money works, how you need to work hard to get money, the importance of saving money, the concepts of loans, insurance, etc. Walrus solves this need by providing a mobile and debit card based solution.
