Newcastle College is a Further Education and Higher Education college based in Newcastle upon Tyne. For those leaving school we offer over 100 courses and apprenticeships to set you up for your chosen career. Degree students are able to choose from over 70 Foundation and Honours Degrees and adult part-time students benefit from over 300 courses Our courses are designed with employers to ensure our course content meets industry demand.

Sunderland College is the top performing sixth form in the North East (NARTs 2023-24, 16-18 student achievement) and a major provider of quality further and higher education in Sunderland, the North East and around the world. We offer one of the largest selection of courses in the region for school leavers, adults and employers including A-levels, professional and technical courses and apprenticeships as well as higher education qualifications such as HNCs, HNDs and Foundation Degrees. Our highly experienced teaching staff and superb facilities ensure our students receive a quality education regardless of the level of study. This is reflected in our results year after year, having achieved a 90% overall pass rate the 2023-2024 academic year and an OFSTED Outstanding rating.

Northern Education Trust was established in 2012 and is one of the North’s largest multi-academy trusts, sponsoring 30 academies – 17 secondary and 13 primary – throughout the North East and North West of England. All inspected academies are rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted. OUR VISION We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount.
