Wait & Hope Foundation Information

The Wait & Hope Foundation is a US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit designing a new model for technology education. We use creative practice as the entry point to onboard people with little to no prior experience in emerging technologies such as blockchain and AI. We equip them with the knowledge to use and shape these technologies for themselves and their communities. We are among the first running real onboarding experiments to build evidence for what actually works. Our programs are designed around the communities where they take place — cultural events rooted in local context, digital culture gatherings that bring global perspectives together, and art events that attract the kinds of diverse backgrounds that technology education rarely reaches and that make the research actually meaningful. What follows is technical education built around each community's reality, closing the gap between encountering these technologies and actually being able to use, develop and shape them with confidence.
