The Wagon Pars' plant is situated in an area of 33 hectares in industrial township of Arak In order to produce technological superior parts, assemblies and complete wagons, WPCO acquired designs and technologies from Bombardier Transportation Gmbh, Siemens Austria, and Alstom France By enjoying close cooperation with Bombardier Transportation as its current design associate, approximately 1700 efficient employees and the most up to date and sophisticated machinery and equipment in Middle East and benefiting management system, decreasing overheads and increasing productivity for making the more competitive, optimizing delivery time of its goods and widening after sales service margin, WPCO has been able to widen the variety range of its products and services, increase capacity of its production lines and extend its national and overseas market territories. Presently, WPCo. manufactures approximately all kinds of Freight Wagons and Passenger Coaches, Shunting and Main Line Locomotives, Train Set (DMU's), Metro Cars and Airport Passenger Boarding Bridges.
