Wagnalls Memorial Library Information

The Wagnalls Memorial Library, erected in 1925, operates as a traditional library, wedding venue, and community center focal point. The memorial, dedicated to Adam and Anna Willis Wagnalls, has a rich history that goes back for decades. The library is home to a large collection of adult, teen and children’s materials. Wagnalls shares its publications with a consortium of 17 area libraries that reciprocate the arrangement, giving our members access to an expansive range of titles. Because we tend to keep our titles longer than most libraries, our guests often visit us to obtain hard-to-find books or books that may not be on today’s most popular lists. While Preschool Storytime remains one of our most popular programs, Wagnalls offers a variety of library and technology classes with activities and events for guests of all ages. It is our mission to provide the public with educational resources and tools to help them flourish in life.
