Wagging Hearts Information

Wagging Hearts is a 100% foster-based, non-profit rescue organization. Our mission is to rescue abandoned, neglected, and stray companion animals. o work to secure a better life for them in loving homes, and provide a lifetime of support to animals that remain in our care. We are an all volunteer animal rescue organization that believes all lives are worth saving and vow to provide our animals with the care that they need. As a true no-kill organization, Wagging Hearts provides care for our animals until they find their forever homes. Animals that are not fortunate enough to find the right family will stay in our care for the rest of their natural lives. We do not have "time limits" for the animals in our care, nor do we do temperament testing to determine if an animal is "adoptable. We believe all dogs and cats are "adoptable" and simply need to find the right family. Our animals often come to our attention through shelters, police departments, people in the community, veterinarians, and other animal rescue organizations. Upon arrival all animals are taken to our veterinarian partners for a complete examination, worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering and micro-chipping. We provide medical care and a safe, comfortable living environment for our animals to enjoy while they await their forever homes. To ensure these animals are placed into loving homes, we adhere to a rigorous adoption process. Our founders have many years of experience with various animal shelters and rescues. But, we are always looking for more help. As a non-profit animal rescue we rely on volunteers and donations to support our organization.
