Like the thin blue line representing both law enforcements role in separating order from chaos and also the bond connecting all of law enforcement the line in our logo represents the fraternalism of the officers from across our great state. WAFOP membership runs from our states beautiful western coast to the rolling hills of the Palouse; from the rugged national border of the North Cascades to the rolling Columbia River to the south. We represent those experiencing their first day on patrol to those signing off to retirement; the thin blue line always carries on. Proudly centered in the middle of the new image is the National FOP motto, Jus-FIDUS-Libertatum (Justice, Friendship, Equality) and the FOP star which represents the values of the FOP including our national flag, the eye of vigilance, the bond of friendship and the never-ending efforts to promote welfare and advancement of the order.
