W_Lamp is an Italian/American company based in South Windsor (CT - US), Cagliari and Torino (Italy) where we create lamps and furniture out of laser cut paper and cardboard. Starting from our experience on paper design, we're trying to integrate all kind of technology with paper and cardboard. our dream is to make something of "Magic" because you don't expect technology. Our w_lamp is a laser cut paper prism lamp shade. When switched on, the W_Lamp comes to life with striking shadows and shades of color and, thanks to our experiments, we're finalizing several and different "magic prototypes" such as a "capsense" lamp or a "maglev" lamp. Everything out of cardboard and paper, of course.
