Founded in Sydney in 1958 by Dutch immigrant and innovator Dick Dusseldorp, Lendlease was born out of a vision to create a company that could successfully combine the disciplines of financing, development and investment. Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Lendlease has approximately 12,000 employees internationally. Our regional head offices are located in New York, Singapore and London. Since November 2009 Metro Trains Melbourne has been the operator of Melbourne’s growing suburban railway. Currently running more than 15,000 services a week across 16 lines, Metro is committed to creating one of the best engineered railways in the world. FDC was conceived in 1990 on the principle that the journey of building was as important as the outcome itself.
