VYTAL telecom was founded in 2005. The company was designed to be a 100% IP facility based carrier - zero TDMfacilities were utilized. A 1,000 port (license) IP switching facility was installed in less than 6 months (located at the NAP of the Americas). The company also integrated all of its ERP, margin analysis and reporting tools directly into the switching facilities. These tools were then integrated with the company's accounting package. This allowed for extremely efficient operations. 90%+ of all traffic was transported internationally using an arbitrage rate exchange (Arbinet). These operations eliminated the need for an internal, and costly, LCR process.
