Vouch began in 2019 creating next-gen shareable keys for OEM automotive. In order to create digital keys that worked offline, we created a framework for first issuing licenses linked to native biometrics, software and APIs for endorsing others to use shared technology, and then the embedded hardware and SDKs to recognize identity and the encoded credentials people need to get their jobs done. A biometric license that carries an endorsement to access a particular vehicle makes a great digital key, but we’ve grown to sit at the nexus of a new ecosystem that mediates the way we unlock, monetize, and manage the shared technologies that are driving a future where our agency and humanity within increasingly autonomous systems relies on our ability to be recognized by the technology we share.
