Kia ora and Welcome to Otago University’s Vote2023! We’re running pre-election interviews with politicians filmed in front of a live audience here at the University’s Media Production Studio. These interviews will be available on Newsroom, Facebook, YouTube and other social media, as the general election approaches on Saturday 14th of October. VOTE2023 is made by students, for students, and hopes to entertain and inform viewers about their potential representatives this election. VOTE2023 aims to contribute by raising the profile of a number of election issues as political campaigns and public discussions continue to be the central means of contesting political issues in this country.
