Vortex Production Services is a leading provider of premium polyurethane panel buildings, wholesale polyurethane panels, and specialized mechanical services supporting the production and processing needs of the oil & gas and broader industrial sectors. Founded in 2003 as CH4 Compression, the company has grown both organically and through strategic acquisitions. Shelter King Steel Buildings (2005), Compact 2000 (2007), and Magna Machine Shop (2008) strengthened our capabilities and expanded our talent base across Western and Central Alberta. Before the employee buyout in 2012, these combined entities operated as Strad Compression & Production, a division of Strad Energy Services. Today, Vortex Production Services operates through three core divisions: • Insulated Panel Solutions Division – A premier manufacturer of polyurethane panel buildings and a distributor of wholesale polyurethane panels used across oil & gas, agriculture, construction, recreation, and infrastructure. • Services Division – One of Western Canada’s largest fleets of mechanical service trucks, staffed by highly experienced heavy-duty technicians serving Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. • Packaging Retrofit Division – Specialists in restoring and modernizing complex oilfield production and processing equipment, returning assets to like-new performance.
