Ontario high schools require every student to complete 40 hours of community involvement before graduation. Tracking submissions, cross-referencing records, and compiling accurate hour counts for every student is a slow, manual process that pulls staff away from more important work. On the student side, finding the right opportunity in the first place is half the battle. Most students are left to figure it out on their own. Voluntus is a purpose-built platform that solves both sides of the problem. Students discover opportunities that fit their interests directly in the app, log their hours, and submit for supervisor sign-off, all from their phone. Administrators get a real-time, centralized view of every student's progress, with clean records that are always up to date. We're a Toronto-based team building specifically for Ontario's Ministry of Education requirements, not adapting a generic volunteer tracker from another market. We're currently in development and in active conversation with school boards across the Greater Toronto Area. If you're involved in student services, school administration, or board-level procurement and want to be part of the early rollout, reach out at sean@voluntus.ca
