VOLT builds real-time video intelligence out of Palo Alto, California. The hard problem our engineering team works on: making sense of thousands of camera feeds as they happen, not hours later. VOLT unifies an existing camera fleet — whatever mix of hardware and VMS is already installed — and tracks people and objects from camera to camera, across buildings, on a live 3D map of the site. No rip-and-replace, no scrubbing footage after the fact. Maryville University kept its Genetec fleet and avoided a roughly $1.4M overhaul. What the models look for goes well beyond weapons: a person on the ground during a medical emergency, a crowd gathering where a fight is forming, someone in a building at 3am who should not be there. Every alert is reviewed by a person in our security operations center before it reaches a customer's staff, so teams are not worn down by false positives. It looks for concerning activity, not for individuals, and it does not use facial recognition. Schools and agencies using VOLT include Robinson ISD, Loudoun County Public Schools, Maryville University, UC Law San Francisco, Prescott High School, Indian Creek School, Aspen Academy and the Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office.
