Since entering the construction market in 1935, VolkerRail has become one of the UK’s leading multidisciplinary railway infrastructure contractors. With over 70 years’ experience in the heavy and light rail infrastructure sectors, we have built a successful track record of delivering high profile projects for both public and private sector clients, ranging from small contracts to joint venture and alliance projects in excess of £1bn. Our business is split between Major Projects and Specialist Businesses, who work independently, or collectively across all rail networks, including main line railways, branch lines, depots and underground and overground mass transit networks, including tramways and private industrial railways, delivery bespoke contracts to full major turnkey projects.
