A trip down memory lane In 2016, we began as De Behangwinkelier, selling wallpaper online. Soon after, we expanded into home accessories with De Woonwinkelier. Rugs quickly stole the show, leading to a bold shift in 2019: the rebranding as Volero, focusing fully on rugs. A name that nods to the Dutch word for floor: “vloer” and our global vision. Fast forward to today We’re proud to be the largest online rug retailer in Netherlands, offering a wide range of our private label rugs. We’re now active in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Poland and France. And this is only the beginning of our European adventure! Volero: Makes you feel at home But, we’re more than just a webshop. We believe rug shopping should be fun, easy and inspiring, both online and offline. That’s why we opened a showroom in Lekkerkerk (Rotterdam) and an XXL showroom, with 1000m2, in Amsterdam. At Volero, we do everything with one goal in mind: Making you feel at home.
