Volans Rowing develops innovative products for rowing. In 2011 Volans Rowing will introduce a revolutionary new boat on the market, called Volans2. Compact, light and fast. And affordable. For the recreational athlete, for upcoming rowing talents and for elite athletes who like to do their endurance training in the open air. Volans2 is not much larger than a kayak but still gives the feeling of a slim and slender racing skiff. Due to her stability on the water, rowing with Volans2 is easy to learn for young and old. The boat fits on the roof of a car and can easily be stowed in the garage or garden. The New Rowing Experience: enjoying the freedom of the water, wherever, whenever and as often as you like. Volans Rowing is a company owned by Cees van Bladel and Lenneke de Voogd in collaboration with their production partner in Estonia. Cees van Bladel is a former Olympic sailor and an avid endurance athlete. Lenneke de Voogd is also an active all-round athlete. Both have vast experience in innovation in sports.
